BYU Campus Education Week and More

August 15, 2011 - August 26, 2011

I had the wonderful opportunity of attending BYU Campus Education Week for the first time.  I loved it and I recommend it to anyone.  There were so many great classes to pick from, and they were all great.  I took as many classes as I could that week.  I also met so many great people.  When the week came to an end, I really wanted to spend more time with Rachel and her family.  I convinced my parents to come up to visit, so that I would have a way back to Henderson.  It worked out great for everyone!

The woman next to me was pretending she didn't realize I was taking a picture.  She was fully aware.  Haha!

I tried to get the Y on the mountain.  Apparently I missed it.

Grants loves to do dishes.

Uh oh!  His favorite toy is now a bunch of shards.  Grant learned a lot about gravity and force that day.

Rachel and I attended a YW service project together.  Perry and Grant showed up to say hi.

I went to Seven Peaks Water Park with Meg Jorgensen, my beloved first MTC companion.

I am 25.

August 4, 2011

I am 25 and I can hardly believe it.  I hope this proves to be as great as year 24.  Trend has shown that my years get better and better. On my birthday this, we didn't do much.  I wanted to go to the temple, so my parents and I went together.  :o)  Totally worthy of a birthday activity!  We topped off the day with a strawberry pie, my personal favorite.

Summer Roadtrip Part 8 - Utah

July 27, 2011 - July 31, 2011

We drove Rachel and Grant back to Orem, UT and stayed for a few days.  I was able to see some friends and the Westensees and of course the Stotts more.  :o)

Grant really loves lawnmowers.

Summer Roadtrip Part 7 - Medford

July 21, 2011 - July 25, 2011

Since the Portland Temple was closed for maintenance, we traveled down the Medford for Trey to be sealed to Amber and Jason.  I also have a lot of family in Medford, which is perfectly convenient.

Traveling to Medford

Day two: In the morning we hiked Roxy Ann with Aunt Lisa.  In the afternoon was the sealing.  We went to Casa Ramos to celebrate further.

Her pacifier is sideways.  Hehe!
Day three: We went blueberry picking.

Grant's first time picking blueberries.

I think he ate more than he put in the bucket.

Day four: We had a barbeque at the Judd's.  I am lacking in pictures.

Jenna and Kyle (my cousins) with Grant

Day five: We hung out with my Great-Grandma Lela and my Grandma Lois.

Grant loves music.

Child prodigy in the making.
